Hedin Supercharge is a provider of electric vehicle charging and one of Hedin Mobility Group’s key investments in modern mobility services. As of 1 March, Peter Jürgensen will assume the role of CEO of Hedin Supercharge.
To support the transition to sustainable mobility, contribute to the expansion of charging infrastructure, and meet the growing demand for electric transportation, Hedin Mobility Group launched the subsidiary Hedin Supercharge in 2023. On 1 March, the organisation will be further strengthened as Peter Jürgensen takes on the role of CEO of Hedin Supercharge. Peter most recently served as Aftersales Director at Hedin Mobility Group.
Anders Hedin, CEO of Hedin Mobility Group, comments on the appointment: "The electrification of the transport sector is moving rapidly, and the investment in Hedin Supercharge is an important part of our strategy to meet the demand for reliable and high-performance charging infrastructure. With his extensive experience and strong business acumen, we see Peter Jürgensen as the right person to lead Hedin Supercharge into its next phase, where we will strengthen our market presence, accelerate innovation, and take steps toward becoming a leading EV charging operator."
Initially, the Hedin Supercharge’s operations have been focused on the Swedish market, where the company currently operates 24 charging locations with a total of 100 charging points. In 2024, Sweden’s first charging station capable of delivering 1.2 megawatts of power was inaugurated, providing fast charging for heavy-duty trucks. A significant number of new locations are planned for the coming years, and the long-term ambition is to expand across Europe and establish a presence that contributes to the transition to an emission-free vehicle fleet. All Hedin Supercharge chargers deliver 100% renewable energy.
Peter Jürgensen looks forward to his new role with confidence: "I am honoured and excited to take on the role of CEO of Hedin Supercharge. We are entering an exciting future where innovation, performance, and sustainability go hand in hand to redefine what is possible in vehicle charging and performance enhancement. Our industry is undergoing a transformation, and Hedin Supercharge is well-positioned to drive development forward and deepen our commitment to customer needs.
Our vision is to be one of the leading EV charging operators. My focus will be to strengthen our market presence both nationally and internationally, accelerate the pace of innovation, and build on our strong position and industry recognition. I look forward to working with our fantastic team, our partners, and our customers to drive Hedin Supercharge towards new successes. Together, we will continue to develop solutions that make a real difference."
